The first six months of membership are crucial to establishing a long-term relationship. Use the time wisely by implementing an onboarding campaign. Create awareness of key products and benefits received through membership by showcasing a different one each month. Many credit unions also include special offers and incentives to get new members interested.
Make that new connection strong by personalizing the campaign. Segment these members by age groups so the graphics and copy will have greater appeal. Use their first name in the copy. For that personal touch, branch code the communications, and include the name and phone number of the person they should speak to when they respond.
Trigger Campaigns
These messages are based on an event in the member's life. The member could have a pending loan or investment maturation. Perhaps they have reached a high level of credit union participation, thereby qualifying them for deeper discounts, lower interest rates, or a rewards program. Many credit unions acknowledge birthdays and membership anniversaries.
However you define your triggers, personalize everything to have greater appeal and make the member feel valued.
