Security
Pinpoint Direct Marketing’s server data is colocated in a highly secure, environmentally-controlled VISI, Incorporated facility that meets Statement on Auditing Standards (SAS) 70 Type II certification. The widely respected audit demonstrates a service organization has been through an in-depth audit of their control activities, which generally includes controls over information technology and related processes. Pinpoint’s server meets the highest standards of security and has the appropriate controls and safeguards clients need to protect their mission-critical data.

Access to your data is restricted to Pinpoint’s most senior employees only after they have passed a thorough background check and drug test. Access at Pinpoint’s office is further restricted by passive security, such as building alarms, secured office, and a single, dedicated access point. Active security at Pinpoint’s facility includes a biometric fingerprint scan and PIN code.

Pinpoint Direct Marketing does not accept social security numbers. Any received are immediately destroyed. All data is destroyed within one week after producing your campaign.

SAS 70 is an internationally-recognized auditing standard developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). VISI enlisted the services of RSM McGladrey, Inc., which is the professional services arm of McGladrey & Pullen, a national, certified public accountant firm, to conduct the audit. Access to the SAS 70 audit is available upon request.
